Simple or What?!

saxophone ensemble edition

Composed by: Chris Gumbley
Genres: Funk, Reggae

Simple or What!? By Chris Gumbley is for saxophone ensemble [6 parts]. It is good to see some flexibility here in the instrumentation, making this piece accessible to a wider range of groups, for example in schools where there isn't always a baritone or soprano instrument. This is written in a lively reggae style and there is an opportunity for the 2nd alto player to practise improvising skills. It is well written and appealing. About grades 3-5.
